Challenge
A patented Ayurvedic product was trapped in a clinical identity, with medicinal packaging and a logo that failed to inspire hope.
The initial brand direction was generic, risking getting lost in a sea of predictable health warnings. Our own exhaustive research uncovered a crucial insight: the core audience was younger and more influenced by aspirational trends than by clinical education.
The challenge was to pivot from a sterile, educational approach to an engaging, culturally relevant brand that could build a genuine movement.

To architect a purpose-driven brand identity that would transform Smotect from a mere product into an empathetic wellness partner.
Our goal was to unify their fragmented product line under one powerful name—Smotect Azaadi—to build strong brand recall. We proposed a strategic shift from simply selling a product to cultivating a supportive community movement.
This required a complete brand world, moving away from medicinal clichés to a cool, pop, and trendy identity that would resonate with the true audience and drive a new conversation around cessation.



Process
We distilled the brand’s mission into a powerful identity: Smotect Azaadi, meaning 'freedom,' and built an entire ecosystem around it.
Rejecting cliché concepts, our strategy was guided by our research. We created the butterfly logomark—a symbol of transformation—and a vibrant, pop-inspired visual language. This new conviction was applied across a complete suite of services.
We delivered a full packaging redesign, new flavour naming, lifestyle and e-comm photoshoots, website design, and all print and digital collateral, architecting every touchpoint to feel supportive, cool, and inspiring.
