About Us
Kern Culture is a strategic design consultancy built on a singular conviction: we are in the craft of shaping culture, not just brands. We partner with discerning leaders at critical inflection points, providing the intellectual rigour and honest counsel required to build enduring brand frameworks. Our practice is a space for thoughtful, strategy-led work. We are a curated team of thinkers who believe that great brands emerge from conviction, not consensus.
The Role
We are seeking a UX/UI Designer who is obsessed with the user and passionate about transforming complex problems into intuitive, seamless, and elegant digital experiences. You will be responsible for the entire design process of our partners’ digital flagships, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and high-fidelity visual design. This role is for a systems-thinker who understands that a great digital experience is where a brand’s strategic conviction becomes interactive and tangible.
What We Are Looking for
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your expertise in both UX (user research, wireframing, user flows) and UI (visual design, prototyping, design systems).
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools, particularly Figma.
- A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to advocate for the user at every stage of the process.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with strategists, designers, and developers to create a cohesive and on-brand digital product.
- An analytical mind that can translate user feedback and data into actionable design improvements.
How to Apply
To apply, please email your CV and a link to your portfolio to connect@kernculture.com. Please include at least one case study that details your process from research to final design. In your email, briefly describe a digital experience you find particularly intuitive and explain the single design decision that makes it so effective. We are interested in hearing from individual applicants only and kindly request that recruiters and agencies refrain from applying.
